So it has been over 4 months since our new beginning.
There has been times where we have given you many releases at once but there has also been times where we have given you nothing at all, mainly due to everyone's busy lives (sorry about that).
Since we have spent hours in providing you with subtitles for a certain period of time already we asked that you spare us a few moments and give us something back...
We would like to know what you think of Kizuna Fansubs.
Feedback and Constructive Criticism will be appreciated ^^
This way we will be able to perhaps satisfy you a little better in the new year.

So tell us what you think of our:
- Subbing Speed
- Admins & Staff
- Projects
- Hardsubs/Softsubs
- Subtitle Quality
- Subtitle Status Updates
- Our Website
- Our Dreamwidth Community
- Twitter
and anything else you can think of ^^

You can either write massive paragraphs which go on FOREVER (we'll still read it)
or you can just rate each category above out of 10 or whatever

You may comment anonymously if you wish.
Yea we are pretty much giving you the chance to bad mouth us HOWEVER please only do it if you think we really deserve it.
Oh and if you do decide to say that we suck... please tell us why LOL
Constructive Criticism is helpful.

Anyway, you have until mid January (15th) to reply to this.
It would be appreciated if you did reply ^^
we have over 1000 members within this community so it would be great if at least 10% gave us their opinion.

Thank you.

- Subbing Speed is fine. I understand you're all busy people, so some periods are bound to be a bit slower than others.
- Admins & Staff are fine. You all seem like nice people.
- Projects - I'm only interested in TW dramas, so I'm here for those. I reckon there's a good selection and that you're doing the dramas no one else is.
- Hardsubs/Softsubs - I prefer hardsubs, but have no issues with soft subs.
- Subtitle Quality is great.
- Subtitle Status Updates is fine.
- Our Website - good. I go there to check on the status of subs.
- Our Dreamwidth Community - great. So glad you're here :)
- Twitter - Thanks for updating Twitter every time there's an update. I do track this website so I get email updates, but Twitter is really useful as well.

All in all, I think you guys are pretty awesome to give up your time to sub these shows for us. The only thing I would say is that I noticed you guys are releasing hardsubs and softsubs of Ouran High School host club after you've already finished releasing all the soft subs, and i'm just wondering if that's really necessary, as that's time that could be spent on projects that are unfinished/still ongoing. But maybe you have your reasons. I'm not too fussed either way. I'm just glad to have somewhere to get subs for the shows I want. Great job, guys.

- Subbing Speed is okay. You guys need to work, eat and sleep too. I understand. :)
- Admins & Staff are friendly and accommadating. You find ways and time to reach out to us members.
- Projects are good. People have different likes and I respect it. I'm an avid fan of your Mike He projects. :)
- Hardsubs/Softsubs is 10/10. I use hardsubs because of my dvd player.
- Subtitle Quality is 10/10. Your subs are clear and readable.
- Subtitle Status Updates is useful for those people are willing to wait like me. :)
- Our Website - nice. I always visit to check your projects and status of subs.
- Our Dreamwidth Community - nice too. I hope everybody will participate in the community.
- Twitter is a big help also to me. When I want to ask something about the projects or say thank you, I tweet! :)

Thank you kizuna for providing us the asian dramas we need. Advance Merry Christmas and a Properous New Year.

- Subbing Speed: You have a lot of projects, but I've only been watching 2... 1 of which is Arakawa which has been really slow. I used to sub too so I can understand.
- Admins & Staff: Everyone seems nice with good attitudes~
- Projects: I don't watch many dramas so no comment. ^^;
- Hardsubs/Softsubs: I prefer hardsubs
- Subtitle Quality: Translation is pretty good, though some short lines are kind of awkward. Also I would suggest adding some more margins to the top and bottom of the video and enlarging the font (for hardsub releases).
- Subtitle Status Updates: I liked how easy it was to read before, but if this version gets updated more then I don't mind.
- Our Website: I really don't like the splash page. I wish you still had a page where you can see all the updates and just scroll down like you had before. No problems with anything else.
- Our Dreamwidth Community: Everything looks good. It might be easier to navigate if you had a master post at the top linking to all the different series' pages.
- Twitter: I don't use Twitter so no comment~

Thanks for all your hard work on these subs. Also, I'm actually still waiting for the hardsubs of Ouran so I would appreciate you guys continuing. Just saying in contrast to the first comment on this post.

- Subbing Speed - I understand how busy life gets, so the speed is not an issue to me.

- Projects - I like your project choices, they are diverse and interesting.

- Hardsubs/Softsubs - Personally I prefer the hardsubs, because it is much easier to play them on my TV than to go through all the steps to get a softsub to play.

- Subtitle Quality - Great quality

- Subtitle Status Updates - fair

- Our Website - only use it to check status on subs.

- Our Dreamwidth Community - A little more frustrating than LJ, but that could be just not being used to this site structure.

All in all I like the work you guys have done, and appreciate the amount of time and effort you all put into doing this. Thanks for your time and effort!

Subbing Speed- As you said, sometimes pretty fast and sometimes not. But still nothing to complain about.
Watching an episode takes less time than subbing one, so you're at the worse end, I guess...

Admin & Staff- Friendly and helpful. Already watched some of the recommended dramas :)

Projects- Because you're a joined group you have to take care of a lot of projects. I liked you're choices so far!
I was a little bit surprised when you chose to release completely new projects, because it will influence the subbing speed in general. You have to divide your strength, time etc into even tinier bits, so finishing off the older ones first might be better, was what I thought. But maybe you got bored in those and others were more interesting, so I'm not really blaming you...

Hardsubs/Softsubs- I like hardsubs better, because they look better with all the colors and effects. So if I know there'll be a hardsub release I'll wait for it instead of downloading everything twice. Because of that I'm kind of hanging mid-air waiting for hardsubs like those of Ouran and Arakawa, but it's not that I don't have other dramas to watch, so'll wait patiently for the release. Nothing to complain, or be angry about^^

Subtitle Quality -Very good

Subtitle Status update- Haha, I love looking at fansub groups status pages. Don't ask me why. Sometimes I think it's okay not to have a release every week, but I'm still happy if the status develops just a tiny little bit. So I really appreciate you having this status update page. XD

Website- Nice design, but not visiting this page that often, because I won't get hardsubs there...

Dreamwidth community- Luckily you can join with OpenID, I would be lost if not^^
I think it's totally understable to lock your releases at least a little bit and make them "harder" to find. Also the community is very easy to use.

Twitter- I don't have a twitter account, but I still think it's great you're tweeting new releases etc. I get them one my phone, so I'm always up to date.

All in all what's left to say is thank you and good luck~~

you guys are awesome XD

- Subbing Speed is fine. I understand real life takes priority and some periods are slower than others. I also don't have any time to watch dramas sometimes, so no complaints from me on this front.
- Admins & Staff You seem like nice people and all the effort you are putting in the subbing business, website and twitter updates is very much appreciated.
- Projects I mostly follow Jdramas, but I occasionaly indulge in a TW drama or two and I usually end up liking your picks.
- Hardsubs/Softsubs I personally prefer softsubs, but I'm not picky. Whatever is easiest, less time-consuming for you is fine by me.
- Subtitle Quality Great.
- Subtitle Status Updates a nice touch. I don't check it often, but thank you for providing it nonetheless. It's very kind of you to keep us updated on the status of your projects.
- Our Website I really like it. The design is simple and easy on the eyes, plus it's really simple to browse. Two thumbs up.
- Our Dreamwidth Community I must admit I don't check it often, but I do track it and I usually use it to download RAWS.
- Twitter My primary source of news. I usually find out about your newest releases via Twitter, so... yeah. Thank you for your speedy updates.

All in all, I really appreaciate what you're doing, so a big 'thank you' for everything^^

Dear Kizunafs staff-people,

Here's my two cents in the case matter at hand:

Subbing Speed:
I know it's a lot of work to translate, write down and encode the subs to appear at the exact right time! Therefore I am truly amazed about your work and don't mind any amount of time to wait for good quality subs from you guys!

Admins & Staff:
Since I never had a run in with anyone I guess everything's fine? eh, anyway: I really can't say anything on that matter.

I'm one of these people that only watches specific serieses I already know and read about. So, I guess I can't really say anything on that matter either, I'm just glad that anyone picks up the series I'm interested in. After I'm done, I seldomly watch anything else from that group because of lack of time on my behalf.

I personally prefer hardsubs because it is more comfortable to just have them appear over the video automatically so I don't have to tell my program to do that.
But if I enjoy a really good series I'm the person who likes to keep it as original as possible and I like the fact that I can have the choice of switching on and off any extra stuff, just like having the extras on a DVD you know?
So, thank you very much for taking the time to provide softsubs and encoding for the hardsubs!

Subtitle Quality:
I love how natural your subtitles seem to be. I know some other groups that really just translate word for word. In the context it might even not make sense because of that.
But with you guys I'm never really guessing: wait, why did that person say that now, it doesn't tie in!
Since I can't speak Chinese/Taiwanese (I used to watch Love keeps going) I obviously can't tell what they are saying but I can somehow check with the body language and the context and your subs always make sense!
I really like the naturality of your subs!
I also like the little Easter Egg that you do for stylizing certain text in different fonts, like with song lyrics and stuff! It's really neat.

Subtitle Status Updates:
I never really cared so much about updates before I created a Twitter account. But I do have to admit that I like to know how long I'll have to wait so I won't get frustrated. I mean, I know how much time it takes to do all the stuff you people do - I'd never dream about complaining about any amount of wait, though!
Since I follow your site on twitter I really don't bother checking the website anymore (sorry...) and am really happy whenever you announce that subs are available.
I know about that they'll announce if they run into some trouble that delays anything. But nowadays they always try to create a hype on twitter. I am not so sure about how I feel about all of this...
Suggestion: I think it would be nice, if you could post like, if the subs are halfway done or so. That way people know that the work is in progress and not forgotten.
I don't really need anything like that because I'm satisfied with you updates as it is, but I think some people would appreciate doing so, a lot. It might keep complaints at bay, if people know in which production period their product is and can expect to see the result.

Our Website:
Like I said before, I don't bother checking the site anymore since I feel you people tell me everything I need to know via Twitter.
Obviously for old stuff I check your site and then I do find everything just fine - so: thumbs up!

Our Dreamwidth Community:
I still don't really get the whole deal about the community. I just created an account to be able to enjoy your quality subs ;-)

Like I said, Twitter tells me whenever sth new comes up right away, so I really like that. That's one of the reasons I joined Twitter.
And just as mentioned above: you could do some status updates from time to time.

All in all: I'm really thankful for all your hard work and the quality and the affability I've met with.

Last but not least: I wish you a Happy and Prosperous New Year and hope you'll be able to enjoy the merry times for a little while longer!

- Subbing Speed: You guys are usually fast and reliable.

- Admins & Staff: I haven't really talked to you but you guys sound like you got your shit together.

- Projects: I subscribed because of your Jdramas releases and now you guys got me hooked on twdramas as well XD
And you always choose dramas that are relevant to my interests. Thanks!

- Hardsubs/Softsubs: I'm usually a softsubs kind of people but it's great to have hardsubs as well. Thanks!

- Subtitle Quality: You guys are doing a great job.

- Subtitle Status Updates: I don't really keep an eye on the updates so I don't know what to say.

- Our Website: Very well maintained.

I suspect there aren't more posts because this is on dreamwidth.

- Subbing Speed - seems to vary based on the project. For instance, Sunny Happiness has been on the agenda for quite a while without a release, yet other projects are done rapidly like the Japanese ones. It's understandable given the lesser episode count. I'm just happy to see the progress chart and that you're completing the projects.
- Admins & Staff - I'm only familiar with staff and admin through subs, twitter updates, so just thanks admin and staff for the subs.

- Projects - Before I would have said tw dramas only, but I've really enjoyed Ouran High, Ikemen Desu. I find your mix of old and new tw dramas interesting and wouldn't mind seeing someone write reviews of the projects or their opinions to help me select new ones to watch.

- Hardsubs/Softsubs - I sorta prefer hardsubs, especially for twdramas, because good quality raws can be hard to find, but I understand that softsubs is easier and faster for a variety of reasons. Maybe a softsub release first, and then hardsubs for some projects?

- Subtitle Quality - I just watched Ouran High Host Club, and enjoyed the drama. Your subs were great!

- Subtitle Status Updates - The change to just showing the spreadsheet I kinda like, because I suspect it's easier and faster to update, but some viewers may feel its inconvenient to click on another link instead of the progress chart just being there (not me, I just saying).

- Our Website - like others I only go there for updates, links to subs. I agree also about the splash page, would prefer to see it on top maybe, with a list of the current projects on the rest of page.

- Our Dreamwidth Community- can't comment really don't use it much.

- Twitter - sufficient and to the point, unlike some others who do a bunch of spamming. I like the fact its relevant info.
